Who am I?![]() My family lives in the Parisian region, in Sainte Geneviève des Bois, a town of 35 000 inhabitants, 25 km (15 miles) south of Paris. Sainte Geneviève has three distinctive features: its castle of the 18th century right in the middle of the town (you can see it above), its Russian cemetary (the only one of its kind in France! the famous ballet dancers Serge Lifar and Rudolf Noureev are buried there, like countless generals, nobles, dignitaries of the former tsarist Russia at the beginning of the century), and its hypermarket Carrefour, the first hypermarket ever built in France (in 1963). Apart from that, it's an ordinary but quite pleasant suburban city, close to Paris (you can reach downtown Paris, Notre-Dame, in 25 minutes with the train) and almost in the country (you see fields and farms when you leave the city to the south) at the same time. And you know it if you visited my page a little bit, I am Bigouden of origin, and even if I don't live in Brittany, I go there every time I can… ![]()
Wherever they are, in Zaire or in France, refugees are not a threat, they're victims who need to be sheltered and helped. ![]() I like this a lot, too…
